In a collective work process, the artists Alice Creischer and Andreas
Siekmann, together with the composer and conductor Christian von Borries, have created five musical scenes and a libretto. „Auf einmal und gleichzeitig.
Eine Machbarkeitsstudie“ (2007) examines a society free from work and the(pre)conditions of our consumer world.
The piece will be performed by the State Youth Orchestra of Hessen and
other actors on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of July at 5:00 pm each evening in the City-Point shopping centre on Königsplatz. Admittance is free.
“In the five musical scenes, the concept of work as we generally understand it today will be critically examined. These scenes simultaneously form part of a science fiction story depicting a world which has actually existed the whole time. All that you need to do is to take a short step to the side in order to enter an intergalactic tunnel. However you wont find a completed world at the end of this tunnel, a lot of questions remain unanswered.”(Alice Creischer)

The scenes will be introduced and accompanied by a master of ceremonies.
The 9 actors, accompanied by the State Youth Orchestra of Hessen, will
move about the various levels of the City-Point shopping centre in changing roles.
The shopping centre will become a musical instrument, stage and exemplary demonstration.
