In the early 1960s, the dancer and choreographer Trisha Brown began to explore everyday movements and place, their function and their substance. She let dancers perform on rooftops or walk along the fronts of houses on ropes. The close contact to artists extended her spectrum and inspired her in a permanent on-going development of her vocabulary of movement. In 1970 she founded the Thrisha Brown Dance Company.

Dancers introduce structured movements from the choreography Accumulation into the exhibition space. The audience cannot help but assume a position, interact with the performative surroundings. In the second performance, Floor of the Forest, the dancers move through an installation of old articles of clothing stretched out like a net, slipping into and out of them. The clothing is filled with life and memory.
